Pew Research Center makes the case-level microdata for much of its research available to the public for secondary analysis after a period of time. These datasets are listed below by collection date. A listing of our American Trends Panel datasets and religion datasets are also available.     June 2003 – Online Activities

    This dataset contains tracking questions about online activities. It also contains an extensive battery of questions pertaining to the volume of “spam” email, Internet users’ attitudes towards spam and the use of email filtering.

    August 2003 – E-Government

    This data set asks questions about Internet users’ experiences with regard to government. Some of the topics addressed include looking for information about government services and benefits, requesting official government documents and data, expressing opinions to representatives, frequency of government contact and respondents’ preferred means of contacting government officials or agencies.

    This data set is a callback survey of self-identified artists. It was used in the report “Artists, Musicians and the Internet”.
