Pew Research Center makes the case-level microdata for much of its research available to the public for secondary analysis after a period of time. These datasets are listed below by collection date. The January to May 2012 NCI data set totals 20,447 stories: 1,977 newspaper stories, 3,242 online stories, 5,186 stories from network television, 6,472 stories on cable news, and 3,570 stories from radio programs.
The Project offers topline data for additional content-based reports. Topics of these opportunistic studies ranged from digital advertising and news to how the media covered the 2012 campaign.
