Views of Congress, parties and courts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Views of the Republican Party and Congress have modestly improved in the last year, while ratings of the Democratic Party remain historically low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Supreme Court continues to be viewed more favorably than these other institutions, but its ratings are also near historic lows. By comparison, views were majority favorable for much of the late 1990s and early 2000s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"views-among-partisans\">Views among partisans<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>73% of Republicans have a favorable view of the Supreme Court \u2013 identical to views in 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Democrats are slightly more favorable toward the court than they were last year (30% today vs. 24% then). They remain far less favorable than they were in summer 2022, before the court\u2019s Dobbs decision <a href=\"https:\/\/beta.pewresearch.org\/pewresearch-org\/politics\/2022\/09\/01\/positive-views-of-supreme-court-decline-sharply-following-abortion-ruling\/\">overturned Roe v.
