Bruce Stokes, director of global economic attitudes, presented Pew Research Center findings <\/a>on European attitudes toward the European Union (EU) in Brussels, Paris, Warsaw, Berlin and London. One year after the Brexit decision that promises to take the United Kingdom out of the EU, views of the Brussels-based institution have rebounded. While few Europeans want to leave the EU, many would support holding a referendum on their country\u2019s membership. The survey is based on\u00a09,935 respondents in 10 EU member states from March 2 to April 17, 2017. Together, these 10 nations account for roughly 80% of the EU population and 84% of the EU economy.<\/p>\n\n
