How did we do this?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We surveyed 3,524 U.S. adults from March 16 to 22, 2026. Everyone who took part in this survey is a member of the Center\u2019s American Trends Panel. The survey represents the views of the full U.S. adult population. Weeks into the U.S. military campaign against Iran, majorities of Americans say striking that country was the wrong decision and disapprove of President Donald Trump\u2019s handling of the conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About six-in-ten Americans (61%) disapprove of Trump\u2019s handling of the conflict, while 37% approve.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
