The following table shows the error attributable to sampling that would be expected at the 95% level of confidence for different groups in the survey:<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.pewresearch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/legacy\/425-31.gif\" alt=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to sampling error, one should bear in mind that question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of opinion polls.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some material in this report was taken from the Pew Research Center&#8217;s weekly News Interest Index survey (N=1,004) conducted May 22-25, 2008.
