Most Americans like where they live \u2014 more than eight-in-ten rate their current communities as excellent, very good or good \u2014 but that doesn\u2019t mean that many aren\u2019t ready for a change of pace. About half of the public (46%) say they would rather live in a different type of community than the one they live in now. Americans who have moved at least once and those who have spent their entire lives in the same place are equally content with their current community.
