Baby boomers,members of the large generation born from 1946 to 1964, are pessimistic not only about their own finances, but also about everyone else\u2019s; they are more likely than younger or older Americans to believe that it is harder for people to get ahead now than a decade ago (66% says so) as well as harder to make progress, and easier to lose ground, than it was in the past.
